For configured repositories on compatible runtimes, Flex can maintain a reference preview of the default branch. The new-prototype screen shows that version until your own preview is ready.

Reference previews use the selected product’s settings, including its viewport defaults and companion services. Refreshes replace the reference only after the new version is healthy, keeping the last working preview visible if an update fails.

Make better use of available capacity

Idle previews can be reclaimed across sources, and pull-request previews waiting for capacity are retried durably. Lightweight reference previews receive priority, with resource accounting designed around the application they run.

A more consistent way into Flex

The public website has a refreshed design, and the authentication pages now follow the same styling. The release-note archive remains the place to catch up on product changes.
